It has long been a desire of mine to help others in one way or another. This may come as a surprise to some given my original profession in finance but in a strange way, my aim was to help those that needed someone with my skillset but didn’t need someone full time
I landed on my feet when I went to work with my best friend Mark and shared a seven year journey of discovery, in more ways than one. It was Mark that got me started on NLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Reiki, both of which I learned from the fantastic Betty Cosgrave, who helped me to make real changes in my life. That was another journey Mark and I enjoyed together. While working with Mark and the fabulous team at Sugarculture, I injured myself and developed Sciatica. I tried physio and massage but nothing was helping, I’d had it five weeks when a friend of mine, Stephen happened to tell me that he had met an old friend of his who was doing a traditional Japanese therapy that might help. I got the number and rang Sean Beakey at Daghda Injury Clinic and made an appointment. Sean got rid of my Sciatica in four visits and I was hooked. I have gotten Amatsu balances every four weeks since and I look forward to them all.
It was I who asked Sean about learning Amatsu and I was part of the first class in the Daghda Synergy Amatsu school. From the start I completely fell in love with Amatsu, it was unlike anything I had learned before, the amount of knowledge that Sean and Dave shared with us was incredible and to have the access to the fantastic Dennis Bartram, who is an inspiration, made the course all the better. I was delighted to train with these people and I’m excited to be able to use the skills they taught me to bring about real change and to really help people that are suffering from their injuries/conditions. It’s the best feeling in the world to see someone get better and know that you had a part to play in it.
